1 - What does the "Minimize selling" rebalance behavior do?
Selecting Minimize selling on an account modifies the rebalancing calculation. It will minimize the total value of sell transactions across all accounts that have their Rebalance behavior set to “Minimize Selling”.
2 - Is my data secure?
The data you enter into Portfolio Rebalancer™ is encrypted at rest and while it’s in transit. This means that when the data is transmitted between our servers and your computer it is encrypted, and when it is stored on our servers, e.g., in files and databases, it is also encrypted. Combined, this protects against eavesdropping by a 3rd party and unauthorized copying or retrieval of user data from our servers.
In any case, please do not enter any passwords, credit card numbers, crypto wallet keys or similar data into Portfolio Rebalancer™. It is unnecessary for the proper use of the platform and not what it was designed to do; there are applications specifically made for these purposes, some of them even free.
